It’s a pair by Brian Atwood. What I love about it is its light neutral color and the cut-outs on the sides of the toe area.

The neutral coloring makes it easy to pair and wear as it keeps the legs looking long despite the horizontal straps that cross the ankles (because the neutral color blends with the skin).

The cut-outs make the shoes unique, not the usual Mary Jane sandals, and definitely more memorable.

Tabitha Simmons Bundy Wedge (Spring 2010)

If you look closely, it looks like a cross between Mary Janes, Oxfords, and booties. Like it? Well it’s quite a combination. Pretty soon they’ll be making space suits with high heels and I wouldn’t be surprised.

Actually, I like the Bundy Wedge and I wouldn’t mind wearing it. The art deco coloring is great for spring, although I wouldn’t mind if it were in a more basic color combination so it can last longer in my closet.

According to Style.com, this shoe is a must-buy for the coming season. However, with a price tag of over US$1000++, I highly doubt you’ll be seeing it on every fashionista’s feet.

For those who cannot afford or refuse to spend so much on a pair of Tabitha Simmons Bundy Wedge, here are some look-a-likes. Note that these aren’t wedges, but they offer a close resemblance to the Bundy’s upper front exterior. Plus, these shoes are in classic colors so you can wear it all through out the year.
