Kate Moss Wears Melissa by Vivienne Westwood
I think Kate Moss has outdone her peers. She was hot back then along with the likes of supermodels Cristy Turlington, Tyra Banks, and Claudia Schiffer, and she is still hot now, when most of her supermodel friends are already retired or semi-retired.
Kate, is indeed, still quite in demand. A lot of brands still hire her for their ad campaigns. Case in point, the Australian brand Melissa Plastic Dreams, which got her for their 2009 Fall Winter campaign.
Now one of the ads in that campaign is the reason why I’m writing this article. In it she wore an updated pair of Vivienne Westwood’s Three Straps Mary Janes called the Melissa+Vivienne Westwood Anglomania Three Straps Elevated, product of a collaboration between the designer and Melissa.

Like it? It’s made of faux or synthetic patent leather extra flexible thermoplastic material (also known as PVC or polyvinlychloride; similar, though NOT exactly the same as the material used to create synthetic leather), heels included. In fact it’s one whole piece, no parts were put together to make the shoe (save for the buckles). which is essentially made of plastic. It also comes in metallic plastic, which is the most recent version; part of Melissa’s Spring/Summer 2010 collection.
