Camilla Belle looked beautiful as ever at the Chanel & Charles Finch Pre-Oscar Dinner Celebrating Fashion & Film that was held at the Madeo Restaurant in Los Angeles on February 26.

The From Prada to Nada actress went for the preppy-chic look at the event with her short plaid dress with pleated skirt and Casadei suede mary jane-styled wedges. She was big on accessorizing that night as she reportedly donned more than $85,000 in Cartier white gold jewelry.

Do you love Camilla Belle’s look for the night? It’s certainly unique and refreshing. The prep girl-styled dress is a nice change from the glitter and the dramatic we’ve been seeing quite often lately. And it blended well with Camilla’s equally chic Casadei wedges. Nude—the color and not the birthday suit—is expected to be big this year. Several designers like BCBG and Chloé have included the nude color in many of their runway pieces. Fashion editorials have also been forecasting nude to be a big thing. Not only that, we’ve spotted several celebrities starting to go nude with their mary janes, including Mila Kunis at the 2011 People’s Choice Awards.

We’re not surprised to see nude fashion pieces making a comeback this year. Nude-toned mary janes, in particular, are very versatile. They look subtle and innocent, yet they’re surprisingly sexy when mixed with bold colors. Nude mary janes look great with anything. I’m in the mood for some fashion face-off today. Just for fun, let’s compare two of today’s most fashionable stars in the red carpet: sweet and stylish Michelle Williams against pretty and posh Rachel Bilson. Both of these young actresses rocked the red carpet in Christian Louboutin Ole Ole Satin Platform Pumps.

Michelle Williams attended the 2011 National Board Of Review Of Motion Pictures Gala at Cipriani 42nd Street in New York City, NY early last month in a black Oscar De La Renta lacy confection that she paired with the Christian Louboutin Ole Ole Satin Platform Pumps.

Rachel Bilson, on the other hand, stepped out for the premier of her new film Waiting for Forever at the Pacific Theaters at The Grove in Los Angeles on Tuesday, February 1, in a sweet-looking gray and black Burberry cocktail dress and Christian Louboutin Ole Ole Satin Platform Pumps.

This year’s awards season kicks off with the 2011 People’s Choice Awards held at Nokia Theatre L.A. Live on January 5, 2011 in Los Angeles, California. As expected Tinseltown’s celebrities glammed it up for the event. While we got an eyeful of fashionable attendees in glitzy ensembles, Mila Kunis’s sweet subdued look caught our eye. Take a look:

After a rumored split from long-time boyfriend Macaulay Culkin, the Black Swan actress stepped out for the event looking stunning in an olive J Mendel cocktail dress and nude mary jane pumps. Vhernier’s Smart earclips and Eclisse bracelets provided pretty finishing touches.

I have to say Mila Kunis cleaned up pretty well for the event. The olive J Mendel frock is sexy with its figure-flattering cinched waist and ruffled bottom. I totally adore the nude mary janes, too! The neutral tone does a great job of providing that long-legged look and gives Mila Kunis’s whole style a hint of sultriness.

Leighton Meester Wears Pierre Hardy Wedges

Leighton Meester stayed true to her fashionista roots at the Special Screening of Country Song at the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences in Beverly Hills, LA. Take a look:

Leighton appeared for the event looking ready for spring in a dress by Christian Dior, and sorbet-colored wedges by Pierre Hardy. A marquis cut gemstone ring and gold bangle bracelet, both from Cathy Waterman, made the pretty finishing touches.

Do you like Leighton’s festive look? I do. It’s an uncommon spectacle during winter’s red carpet scene, but it’s refreshing nonetheless. We could use a couple more of Leighton’s perky red carpet look, don’t you think so?

As for Leighton’s shoes, do you like them? I find it lovely and playful with its bright colors and edgy design. It’s from the Spring Summer 2011 Collection of Pierre Hardy, and it looks like this up close:

Emma Roberts: MET Gala Black Beauty

A Roberts was spotted attending the MET Gala a few weeks ago, and nope it wasn’t Julia. It was her lovely niece, Emma Roberts.

I know Emma is no longer a tween, but she still looks like it; such a tiny frame of a girl if you know what I mean.

The young celeb was one of the few who kept it short and sweet at the MET Gala. She stayed true to her age in an all-black bow detailed drop waist number by Marni paired with a bejeweled belt and a set of classic black round toe platform Mary Jane pumps.

The look was very clean. However, I do think the bow on her dress was warring with the bejeweled belt. She should have kept the statement piece to one. It’s a good thing the dress was black.

Oscar award winning actress Anna Paquin was spotted at the Valentino Cocktail Party held in West Hollywood last April 2^8th.

The True Blood beauty wore a black and tangerine beaded number and a pair of vintage inspired satin-covered round toe Mary Jane pumps.

The look was simple and elegant, but it was definitely striking, especially with her pale skin and golden hair.

All three are wearing Mary Janes!

It looks like the show’s costume designer was in Mary Jane mode when she dressed up these three for the scene.

The designer chose a pair of retro-inspired printed Mary Jane Wedge Pumps for America Ferrera’s Betty; a pair of black classic heeled Mary Jane pumps for Becki’s Amanda; and although she chose a pair of Mary Jane inspired knee-high boots for Ana Ortiz’s Hilda character, those knee-high numbers definitely look like Mary Janes with a million straps from afar.

Now among the three Ugly Betty characters, whose Mary Jane style do you like best?
