Don’t get me wrong, I have nothing against what she wore, but it is quite strange to see her dressed so darkly (in tights) when the season and weather simply called for light, bright, and breezy. It must have been a really cool sunny day…

Aside from the tights, I also noticed that she paired the whole look with our favorite shoes – classic Mary Jane pumps.

I totally see the reason why. Tights (or nylons) are slippery. Sometimes those classic pumps can slip off while you’re walking so the next best shoes to wear are Mary Janes; the straps will simply keep the shoes in place.
