Vegan Shoe Lover: Anne Hathaway at the 2013 SAG Awards

Thanks to her spot on performance of the character Fantine in Les Miserables, Anne Hathaway has been scooping awards recently. She won the Golden Globes award for Best Supporting Actress and last Sunday night, she grabbed her first Screen Actors Guild trophy, making her a definite shoe-in to get an Oscar next month.

While Anne got major praises for her role as Fantine, her SAG awards look got mixed reviews from fashion critics. The dress is fresh off the runway of Giambattista Valli. The couture gown features the sheer and solid trend – a bodice bedecked with sparkly embellishments and a tulle skirt that wraps over her short hemline. Staying true to her vegan lifestyle, Anne paired the couture dress with custom vegan Jimmy Choo shoes. We doubt that these major shoe designers will start selling vegan versions of their most popular styles but until then, let us settle for the equally-beautiful standard retail versions.

Julia Stiles Wears Jerome C. Rousseau at Producers Guild Awards

Julia Stiles stuck to the basics and kept things simple at the 24th Annual Producers Guild Awards, which was held just last Saturday at The Beverly Hilton Hotel in Los Angeles. The 31-year-old actress ‘Silver Linings Playbook’ actress wore a very simple AllSaints Othea mini dress, which she casually matched with a pair of colorblock sandals by Jerome C. Rousseau.

Considering that this red carpet ensemble is a budget outfit, Julia managed to pull it off and make it look like a million bucks. What do you think?
